AMPED Epic X5 FiberFlex Pickleball Paddle
The AMPED Epic X5 FiberFlex Pickleball Paddle offers the latest in pickleball technology in a traditional shape. The paddle features Selkirk's proprietary thicker X5 polymer core, which amplifies both the power and control of the paddle while reducing vibration and noise. The X5 core adds cushion that allows the ball to stay on the face longer, giving you the ability to manipulate the ball more. It also features their redesigned FiberFlex fiberglass face. The result is a great all-around paddle with a very large sweet spot.
You'll recognize the classic Epic shape of this paddle from Selkirk's other popular paddles. It features a long handle and wide face, with a head-heavy balance that is reminiscent of a tennis racquet.

My first Selkirk paddle and my game has improved since using this paddle. I just started playing pickleball 4 months ago and glad I invested in the Selkirk
If your game is a bit of a chess game - moving your opponents, focusing on extending the rally and playing patiently until your opponent makes the mistake, this is an excellent paddle. If your game is to hit hard, then harder, this is not the paddle for you.
Good power and control. Lacks some spin
Excellent paddle for control. Good vibration damping. Power is more than adequate.
The paddle is well made. Unfortunately, the grip circumference was listed as 4 inches which is what I need but it was closer to 41/8. The company was very good about me returning the paddle for a refund.
